Another Cold Day on the Trail

This post is so cold it had to be written in Blue. Went for a walk to check the trail out at about 11 am. The trail had began to thaw out just a little where the sun could see the ground . The footing was not bad  but, care is needed. Pinecone Trail is next to impassable the standing water still blocks the trail in places and that  standing water is ice. Some places you will have to leave the trail and make your way through the brush. So stay on the other trails and you will be ok. The view from the footbridge is very nice with the frozen water and the different vegetation that somehow manage to suvived the freezing temperatures. Saw no animals, guess the deer and others are lying low in the brush trying to keep warm and are not up and moving.
Here are a few pictures of the walk

Cold Day on the Trail

Burrrrrrr. 25 deg, Wind chill about 15 deg.
Sure was a cold day to be starting another year on the Cotton Wood Trail.
This trip to the CW trail was a hike/picture shoot day. There were a few brave souls out there this morning which were the regular running group  of Scott,Sandy and Jack.
There was also a lady riding a bicycle and a man walking his dog. So here are a few of the photos along the trail.
